It would be diffusion, but even if that were possible, if we are talking about movement of total information, then the collective knowledge of even the simplest brain would contain vastly more information than a pile of books, so the diffusion would take place across a gradient INTO the books, essentially writing new information onto their pages... I doubt this technology exists though.
