You big bully!
Meeee 0 karma June 2014
I commented that so long ago I don't even remember writing it! Thanks though :)

Nowhere did I say that all words that evolve are being butchered. Maybe you should use your eyes and engage that fucking stupid brain of yours for a second. The 'evolution' of the word inception is awful, and not really an evolution at all. It's just people using it in a stupid way, and thankfully it'll never become popular enough to enter the dictionary. Let me once again state that I am in no way against the evolution of all words, but I'm sure you're going to somehow come to that conclusion anyway. Fucking moron.
Meeee +11 karma May 2014
Yeah, which part of this is about grammar?
Meeee +9 karma May 2014
But this isn't about the word evolving, is it? This is about people making a joke, but it not being very funny. Words evolve, I know that, you clearly know that, but that doesn't mean we should sit back and say "ahh, someone's butchered that word and it's meaning, better leave them to it".
Meeee +12 karma May 2014
No, people only use 'inception' to mean 'something inside itself' because of the 'dream within a dream' theme from the film 'Inception' - the meaning of the word has not, and will never, change to mean 'something inside itself'. Unless someone makes a particularly clever pun (perhaps an orange is found inside a larger orange - 'tangerinception'), the inception meme is largely shit. 'Repostception' is neither funny nor clever. Obviously this is just my opinion, but the use of 'ception' is mostly really stupid.
Meeee +1 karma May 2014
The final act of Frozen really ruined the story, as well as many plot inconsistencies throughout. At least Tangled made a lot more sense. Not to mention, the comic relief characters in Tangled (gecko and horse) didn't talk, so there wasn't a fucking annoying voice to entertain the little kids.
Meeee +3 karma May 2014
Rather ironically, the friend appears to have no joints.
Meeee +9 karma May 2014
Inception is the start of something. In the movie, it's the instigation of an idea within someone's mind. Inception is not "something inside itself lol".

It's Firefly :)
Meeee 0 karmaApril 2014
Ahh, thanks! I've been meaning to watch it actually.
deleted_user +1 karmaApril 2014
It's looking a little dated now in truth, but still worth a watch :) Hope you enjoy it!
Crudus 0 karmaMarch 2014
We meet again! We just really love these debates, don't we?
Crudus +1 karmaMarch 2014
I don't know if you are still reading that silly debate about Irony (seriously, if they google it they will find the definition you provided. You pulled it straight from, but I am trying to use Socratic Irony to explain to them the definition of irony(how recursive). This should make for good times.
Meeee -1 karmaMarch 2014
Yeah, I just posted a response on there. I mean, it is perhaps one of the looser types of irony, not obvious at first glance, but is irony nonetheless.
Crudus 0 karmaMarch 2014
They want to call out people for misunderstanding a word, but don't want to tell why they are wrong(my poking and prodding did the trick though). The strangest thing is I think I take debates on the internet almost too seriously. I don't get upset or overly emotional about it, but when people started saying that I don't know what Irony is, I looked it up(again). I researched the different kinds of irony(again...). Sure enough, there ended up being more than just the four I knew about (though they seem just variations of each other). I learned that in the broadest of senses, the examples they are giving are ironic. When you get a broad as possible all irony is just contrast of expected results and what actually happened. So yes, the example for the gum shield and rugby is a little ironic (not all that amusing, but ironic). Then again, that is partly why I get into discussions on the internet, so I can learn and take away something from the experience.
Meeee -1 karmaMarch 2014
I completely agree, the best discussions are when both sides can remain amiable towards each other throughout, although unfortunately that can't always be the case. There's also the issue of either side being unable to accept anything the other has to put forward, which leads to a bit of a stalemate. Although in this situation, I feel you and I have considered both sides of the argument thoroughly enough to decide what was true.
Crudus +1 karmaMarch 2014
Ashketchup finally agreed to disagree. We both walked away happy and maybe a little wiser.
Meeee -1 karmaMarch 2014
That's often the best you can hope for :P
Crudus 0 karmaMarch 2014
JimmyHopkins just called me a cunt in my profile. He literally left a comment just saying that after I told him I was done arguing over something he can just Google. It is kind of hilarious.
Meeee -1 karmaMarch 2014
I just replied to it too, what a joke he is!
Crudus 0 karmaMarch 2014
Let's not feed the troll. My approach was to just use that comment image to reply to all of his posts.
Meeee -1 karmaMarch 2014
I'm not planning on replying further anyway :P
Crudus +1 karmaMarch 2014
I would prefer that option when everyone leaves happy and taking something away from it over winning/losing an argument and someone being upset about it(and not getting anything out of it).
comancheknight 0 karmaFebruary 2014
Yeah, no problem. Uploads like that bug me, but whenever I mention such a thing I get down-voted... so when I see someone else make a comment I would've, I like to give a little bit of karma to start the curve going up instead of down.
2jackieb5 0 karmaNovember 2013
Hello :) sorry I never responded to our posts! but I just wanted to say hi! and maybe continue talking! bc you very intresting and smart :P
Meeee +1 karmaNovember 2013
Hey, no worries, we've all got busy lives to lead, and there's only so much you can say about one book! :P I'm up for continuing talking, so what sort of other books are you into? Or just, things in general :P And I'm flattered, you give off the very same impression :)
2jackieb5 0 karmaNovember 2013
Aww! well I am flattered you remembered me :) And well thankyou! I really do try to be as well rounded as possible. And to be honest, I havent read the most extensive list of books, (being that its really, or used to be really hard and frustrating, its been better now to read) and also just being in school not having time to even finish my hw and barley reading the books i have to for school, i havent been able to read much for myself.
Meeee +2 karmaNovember 2013
Of course I remember you, we had such a fun chat before :P I know what you mean about not having time for books though, I've got at least six novels on the go, as well as three uni books too. Never seem to have the time for anything!
2jackieb5 0 karmaNovember 2013
....haha...hah...ha.. I have no novels on the go :( Kinda can't wait for my life to get started. But thats ok. I need to learn better habbits for speed and manging time. (I have none)
Meeee +1 karmaNovember 2013
Oh definitely, time management is a very important thing, and one that I too need to get a better grasp on! Probably why I've also got loads of TV series on the go too, each episode is so quick to watch, but the series' are so time consuming as a whole. Really enjoying King of the Hill at the moment though.
deleted_user +1 karmaNovember 2013
Your first post posted twice, just in case it's doesn't tell you....
Meeee 0 karmaNovember 2013
Yeah, the page auto refreshed while uploading, so I checked and deleted the second one. Thanks for letting me know! :)

Most excellent! I think I shall actually be making another post tomorrow, with a rare weekend day off, it's pretty much a must. Nice to make your acquaintance!
Meeee +2 karmaOctober 2013
I should really start putting some things of my own on here too, I've got a few images of mine floating around on imgur. And nice to meet you too!
kawaiistargirl +1 karmaOctober 2013
That is SO odd! I appreciate that you didn't go all kamikaze on my account (truly!) but still, what a strange mishap! We must be destined to be tickld friends :D
Meeee +1 karmaOctober 2013
I know, I was really confused when next to my post I saw your picture! And I couldn't do something as mean as that, I'd be gutted if someone had done that to my account. Hah, well tickld acquaintances for now, I'll be sure to keep an eye out for your posts in future :D
JasonMoore 0 karmaSeptember 2013
You're like the Fred Figglehorn of Tickld, he was the first to get 1 million subscribers on YouTube!
Meeee +4 karmaSeptember 2013
Hah, well funnily enough I first watched Fred way back because a friend said I looked like him. And perhaps share the same first name... :P
Charlatan [m] 0 karmaAugust 2013
Were you the first to hit 1,000 karma?
Meeee +2 karmaAugust 2013
I believe so, yes. Used to have the highest karma rating, but I never really cared much about it :P (the blue text was a fun reward though). Why are you asking, by the way? :)
Charlatan [m] +2 karmaAugust 2013
I'm about to update this post: and felt that you deserved a mention. (bluuuuuuue)
Meeee +4 karmaAugust 2013
Oh awesome! If I miss it, would you be able to send me the link to it? :) (as I'm not as active here as I used to be)
Charlatan [m] +2 karmaAugust 2013
No worries bro, I'll link you when it's up in a few days.

Unlucky for you loss on the Wall of Fame - I dunno when it happened but still - you were the top tickldr on this website, I think that's still a massive achievement! Keep going with epic comments! :D
Meeee +56 karma50 gift!May 2013
Hah, thanks :P I think it was better when there were fewer new posts, easier to keep on top of them. And the fact that I've seen a lot of them before, but still...
Catface +51 karma50 gift!May 2013
Uhh, I think I accidentally gifted you 50 karma, without realising that it takes it away from your karma rating. I know it sounds a bit twattish, but could you gift it back, if it isn't too much to ask? Sorry for mucking this up... :/
Meeee +2 karmaMay 2013
It was also a good excuse to gift some karma to someone!
Meeee +4 karmaMay 2013
No, it's mine, all mine MWAHAHAHAHHA.(Nah, of course I'll give it back. I appreciate you giving it in the first place :P)

Thank you very muchly - I know it could be annoying to be betrayed like this but thanks again :D
Meeee +3 karmaMay 2013
No betrayal, I'm honestly flattered you'd even consider gifting me 50 in the first place, let alone doing it! (although I agree, who'd want to give away 50 of their own? xD)
