The International House of Pancakes is no more. On June 11th, the restaurant formerly known as IHOP revealed the meaning of its new name, IHOb. Though one would think the ‘b’ in the new name means ‘breakfast,’ it actually stands for…’burgers.’ The restaurant will still serve pancakes, however, the rebrand emphasizes the brand new Angus Steakburgers that have been added to the menu.
Dear Internet, we abbreciate your batience. Now let’s see who guessed right. B-hold!!!!! #IHOb pic.twitter.com/Fh3SkZ7s3Y

Even chain restaurants, like Wendy’s and Burger King, chimed in to throw some major shade at IHOb.
Not really afraid of the burgers from a place that decided pancakes were too hard.

As much as we love our pancakes, we'd never change our name to Whatapancake
