Anyone who’s getting up there in years has seen things change pretty rapidly in their lifetime. It wasn’t that long ago that playing outside with sticks was our main form of entertainment. There are somethings I miss from that era, but a lot I don’t.

Definitely don’t miss cleaning CDs to make sure they didn’t skip a whole bunch. You’d lend them to a friend and they’d always come back SO DIRTY.

You almost always missed the start.
I feel sorry for Netflix era kids. They will never know the high stakes adrenaline of running to the bathroom/fridge/bedroom in a single ad break, with the beckoning call of a sibling screaming “It’s ONNNNNN” to send you hurdling over furniture to get back in time.
