When a Karen has to wait in line, it’s the equivalent to the end of the world. Originally posted on r/PublicFreakout, this impatient Karen made her own life worse. As Karen voiced her intolerance to the line, the videographer started filming. Another customer at the check out literally stopped her transaction to let this Karen slam her cart into the counter to be serviced ahead of her.
While I personally would have taken my dang sweet time instead, the events that unfold are too hysterical not to share!

The manager kept asking for the ID. This Karen really thought putting her phone number in would solve all her problems. When she takes out her PLATINUM American Express card, she thinks that will also solve all her problems.
Manager: We need your ID
Karen: Here is my phone number and Platinum American Express card

Manager: I’m gonna call the police.
Why wouldn’t she just give the manager her ID? What’s with the platinum card, does she really think that’s a flex? Was all of this really just for Karen to buy two bottles of wine? At a Walgreens? Unfortunately, we’ll never know, but man is it embarrassing (and entertaining) to see people really act like this in public. Seeing a Karen situation pan out in the wild makes me feel all the more grateful for today’s technology, when it can be filmed and they can see their horrible behavior circulating the internet.
What would you have done if you witnessed this Karen behavior?
I’d like to think I’d have some witty comments to say to put this Karen in her place, but I could just as easily have my jaw on the floor by how shocking it’d be to experience this in real life. Still, one of the my personal exchanges in this clip is one between Karen and the videographer.
