While the world teeters on the brink of World War 3, people in Britain are spilling their cups of tea over some creep wearing a cat gimp suit, scaring village folk. It’s a serious country, I swear.
A number of years ago, we had the ‘Killer Clown’ fiasco. People were scaring folks witless, dressing up as clowns, and waiting in unexpected locations. Now, we have something a little more tame, but equally strange. Some unknown weirdo in the a quiant suburb of Liverpool has been sneaking about in a cat gimp suit, surprising residents.
There is no malicious intent in the actions, so far, but it’s certainly got the people of Wallasey talking. The person dressed in the cat gimp suit likes to sneak about in the dark, and jump from behind trees and gravestones before giving a quick ‘Meow’.
The tight cat-suit-wearing weirdo hasn’t brought fear to the neighbourhood. They’ve just become a bit of a talking point. “From everyone’s sightings, the Pantherman is harmless, although he does look scary,” Abbie Gilbert told UK outlet Metro. “I really don’t think he’s dangerous, just a bit strange.”
Harmless Feline Fun For Freaky Fur Fettishist
The cat gimp suit person has become quite the local attraction. Apparently, they’re not shy with their appearances. There have been multiple pictures and stories about them. “The community has gone mental with it,” Gilbert said. “Everyone and their nan seems to have seen him, and there are loads of posts as people are trying to hunt him, or it down.”
Dubbed ‘Pantherman’, the harmless cat person likes to play their role properly. “My little terrier, Mac, started barking away at the figure,” a woman posted to Facebook. “So, I got my phone for light and captured a short video. A man in a panther costume then crawled up the hill on all fours.”
The person dressed in the cat gimp suit hasn’t done anything more than simply freak out a few locals. There doesn’t seem to be anything malicious or perverted about the act. In a place like Wallasey, there isn’t all that much to do. It’s either that, or get really into your local bridge club.
Everyone has their hobbies, I guess.
