International heartthrob Bad Bunny wowed the world with some rather racy pictures he shot for underwear company Calvin Klein, and his mom had something to say about it.
Bad Bunny fans around the world rejoiced when Calvin Klein managed to convince him to run an underwear ad campaign with them. The pictures that came out show him tattooed up, wearing a small pair of chonies, and looking fantastically in shape. It’s all anyone could have hoped for.
But, when doing a risqué shoot like this, it’s always important to remember who else will see it. For Steven Colbert, the idea of his mother seeing him in underwear is highly embarrassing. So, when Bad Bunny appeared on his show, he just had to ask.

“This is the Calvin Klein ad from last year. What was your family’s reaction to this?” he asked the Puerto Rican singer. But Bad Bunny is no prude, and his mother is proud of what her son has become, including in his underwear: a multiplatinum musician, sex icon, and voice for the Puerto Rican people.
“My mom already knew that she made a hot guy,” he told the audience with a smile. “So it was nothing new for her.”
It Could Be Worse
Bad Bunny has taken the world by storm, becoming one of the most listened to artists of the century and winning the hearts of Latinos the world over. He’s struck a chord that has resonated through clubs, homes, and headphones, skyrocketing him to stardom.
His mother will have nothing but praise for her son, in sexy underwear or not. There are many other routes he could have gone down that are much less impressive than becoming an international music sensation.
“I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity to be part of this brand’s iconic campaign, and getting to shoot it in Puerto Rico made it that much more special and genuine,” Bad Bunny said of his underwear photoshoot. “This has been in the works for some time now; seeing it finally come to life has been gratifying,” he added.
Not that Bad Bunny needs it with his current net worth, but he’ll probably be getting underwear for free from now on.
