A French farmer has lost his patience with a government that refused to move squatters from his land, so he took the opportunity to fertilize his fields with pig poo.
When travellers move into a farmer’s field, it is technically against the law without permission. However, many governments are slow to move them on. If they’re off public land and out of the way, it’s good for local councils. They now don’t have to worry about moving them on because it’s become a private problem for the landowner.
As a result, farmers will have their land overrun by caravans and all the waste and crime that often accompanies them. When farmers seek help from governments or the law, they will drag their feet. There are many legal hoops to jump through, designed to slow the process.
“The problem is that we find ourselves alone, powerless. They come back every year. We asked them to leave, but they won’t. There have been clashes with the farmers. We understand why they are not happy,” the Mayor of the area said.
There were more than 400 caravans on the farmer’s field before they took the initiative and sprayed poo all over them.
Stinky Gypsies
The footage shows the farmers rolling into their field with trailers full of slurry. This is the muck collected from pigs and other animals that is allowed to ferment into a stinky semi-liquid. This foul combination of farmyard feces smells like hell, but it is excellent for crops.

The trailers are specifically designed to spray the feces around. The farmer starts to circle the field with the poo spreaders, with all three of them moving towards the trespassers’ encampment. The smell would have been immediately overpowering, and it’ll be around for days.
The trespassers sprint towards the poo spreading farmers, trying to jump into the cabs. But, there is no chance. They can be seen falling from the vehicle, and their shouts are ignored. They even bring out one of their vehicles at one point, but it’s no match for the powerful tractors.
The French farmer, tired of the lack of assistance from the law, took matters into his own hands and expelled the trespassers with the power of poo.
