Gambling on the lotto is just an addiction until you win big, and then it’s all divine intervention, intuition, and the influence of a psychic urge.
A woman in Hanover, Maryland, has taken home the $100,000 lotto prize after allegedly trusting her psychic urge to buy a ticket. I also often get a psychic urge to buy a beer. Sometimes the urge is so big that my hands start to shake.
However, the woman said that she and her fiancé had kicked the lotto habit previously. It was simply her intuition that made her come back for ‘one last scratch.’ It paid off, too, and she uncovered the $100,000 prize with a $50 play. She’s justified her cravings, and she’s locked right back into the idiot tax.
A few months prior, she had won $10,000 on previous games. After this win, she managed to kick her habit for a few months. She was, presumably, up and willing to call it a day. However, the itch to scratch came back, and she couldn’t ignore the cravings. Caving, she paid for a few tickets.

Speaking about her gambling relapse, she said, “One day on a whim, on my way home from work, I just decided to pick a store.” But her favorite lotto ticket was out of stock. She settled for second best, knowing she would get that same high regardless.
She managed to resist scratching the lotto ticket at the liquor store and brought it home. It’s always more fun to indulge together. She sat down to have dinner with her partner before settling in for a night of scratch-off lotto fun.
Her psychic intuition was tingling. “We’re about to win $5 million!” she told him, and she prepared to reveal her winnings. And lo and behold, the spirits had guided her hand. The $50 scratch card had won her a total of $100,000. The huge check she can be seen holding is signed ‘Trust Your Intuition.’
When asked what she would spend her winnings on, the list was pretty regular. She will have a little wedding with her fiancé, probably have a seafood dinner that evening, and help out her mum. But, of course, she will also pay her penance to the addiction that got her the lottery win in the first place.
When asked if she’s kicked the habit, and will maybe give up, she doubled down on the lotto habit. Looking forward, she can’t wait to play again. The $100,000 is going on more tickets. “Oh, absolutely! When I feel it. I have to have a feeling.”
