Today’s “Are you serious?” moment comes from Twitter where one user put his buddy on blast for a recent experience he had with his fiancée. His recounts how his friend took his bride-to-be to the hospital because she was experiencing stomach pains…

…only to find out that they were caused by her being 8 MONTHS PREGNANT! As the first reply so aptly put it, “They got one month to prepare. For a whole ass baby.” While it seems pretty outrageous that a woman could be pregnant for that long and not realize it, she’s not alone. As seen on shows like TLC’s I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant, it actually happens somewhat often. It seems that in most cases where women are pregnant for many months without realizing or even carry a baby to term before they’re aware, the mother is both overweight and has irregular periods. Whether or not that’s the case for the Twitter user’s buddy, we wish him and his fiancée all the luck in the world, because one month is almost no time to make preparations for a newborn!
