A tweet showing a man berating women staff and customers at a bagel shop in Long Island went viral on Wednesday.
The man had apparently become incensed after being rebuked before the video begins. In the video, the man complains that his behavior is unacceptable while women can say, “Oh you’re 5 feet on dating sites — you should be dead.”
The man continues to shout angrily for a few minutes, proceeding to challenge a man behind him to “take it outside,” before being tackled by a man who comes from out of frame, at which point the video ends.
Another video surfaced shortly afterward showing the man being ushered out of the restaurant after hurling more abuse at the female staffers.
Twitter users widely condemned the man’s behavior. The bagel shop, fortunately, did not seem to suffer any serious damage from the fiasco. In fact, they are offering a free mini bagel to any customer who mentions the video. Read on below to see some of the best responses to the controversy!
