It’s never ending drama with Joe Exotic. After hiring an undercover FBI agent to murder his ex wife over animal park troubles, he was locked up for 21 years. Since then, he has begged a presidential pardon, and also got married. However, it isn’t happily ever incarcerated for Joe Exotic and his husband.
Joe Exotic was imprisoned in 2020 for 21 years after trying to have his ex wife murdered by someone he thought was a hitman. The bodged hit resulted in a viral hit Netflix show all about his life. The wild man kept audiences talking for months, as the tales of his insane life were told.
Since then, he has made many social media posts and interviews about his imprisonment. He’s guilty though, so there is little chance of a shorter sentence. Attempted murder, even by proxy, is still a crime. That didn’t stop him asking for a presidential pardon when Trump was handing those out to his favorite felons.
But it fell on deaf ears. So, Joe Exotic’s making the most of his time in prison and found himself a lovely new husband. He got married to Jorge Flores Maldonado this year. Loved up messages of their new romance flooded out of the bars of their marital cell.
“You know, I could die tomorrow, and I could go knowing what true love was really all about,'” Joe gushed. “Jorge gave me the most loving and devoted 10 months of my life. I pray God will give me the chance to experience life with him again”
ICE Snapped Up Joe Exotic’s Husband The Minute His Feet Touched Free Soil
Currently, the US has a task force in deployed dedicated to deporting as many people from the country, illegal or not. They work on fear, suspicion, and betrayal, and have been sweeping across the country, snatching everyone from restaurants workers to students. The publicity of nabbing the husband of Joe Exotic was too good for them to miss.
In all fairness, Jorge Flores Maldonado, Joe Exotic’s husband, has entered the country illegally twice. His second entry resulted in the incarceration that brought him to the waiting arms of Exotic.
Joe has plans for when he leaves, though. He initially planned to get asylum with his husband when they got out. He told press that he was looking at, “getting asylum or we be leaving America when we both get out.”
With the current climate of America, I would be very surprised to see him manage that. His back up, though, was to move to Mexico. But, Joe Exotic is a felon, and Mexico has strict immigration laws when it comes to criminals.
Besides, he’s still got 16 years left on his sentence.
They might be forced to simply hold hands through that big old fence that keeps the US citizens penned in.
