Whitney Purvis of 16 and Pregnant fame claims she was not allowed into the funeral of her lost child after arriving two hours late.
According to her ex, who had custody of their child before his death, he had informed the 16 and Pregnant woman of the correct time for the funeral. He also claims that her name was on the guest list. But, she claims that she was not told the correct time, and was denied entry when she arrived.
The nature of her child’s death meant that the funeral was kept small. The cause of death has not been disclosed. However, he was only 16 years old. The guest list for the wedding was only a few select people.
She arrived at 4 pm for her son’s funeral. However, by this time, the funeral had already been underway for two hours, and the doors were locked. Purvis says staff wouldn’t let her through the doors. Sources close to the 16 and Pregnant star say she blames her ex for the denial of entry to the funeral of her son.
Ex Denies Claims He Kept Mother From Her Son’s Funeral
Despite claims that she was lied to about the start time and was not on the guest list. Her ex, Weston Gosa, denies the claims. Purvis has also claimed her family was denied entry. However, Gosa has reassured the NY Post that this was not the case. He has revealed that the rest of her family were there, despite turning up an hour after the official start.
She then proceeded to abuse her ex-husband via text, calling him evil. She claimed she had been denied access to her son’s funeral because she wasn’t on the guest list. According to him, he responded by sending a picture of her name on it.
She may not have cared for her son enough to show up to his funeral on time, but she made sure to make a show of it online. The 16 and Pregnant star posted a memorial to him on her Facebook page before the funeral. “My beautiful son, Weston, has passed away. He was only 16 years old. Life is so cruel and unfair. I just don’t understand. Oh my baby is gone and I don’t know what to do with myself.”
