Cosmetic surgery, on almost every level, is something that could be avoided with a little therapy. In almost every case, the surgery looks worse than whatever it was they felt insecure about. In a horrible case of dysmorphia, a Bulgarian woman has ruined her face with filler, giving her the largest lips in the world.
The surgeons who sell damaging surgery, and the companies that peddle it as a beauty product, are soulless shills. They prey on the insecurities that exist in almost everyone, and milk it for profit and bodily ruin. For someone vulnerable to social pressure and low on self-confidence, it can be incredibly damaging.
Andrea Ivanova began her cosmetic surgery journey in 2018. She underwent multiple face changing operations, including chin shaping, enlargement and lengthening, jaw shaping, and cheekbone enhancement. However, it was her obsession with lip fillers that gave her the world’s largest lips.
Already, she had hacked her face up in the pursuit of manufactured beauty. By 2022, she had endured 32 procedures, racking up a bill of more than $9000. However, it’s the lips she won’t leave alone, even if doctors tell her it will kill her.
Lip Locked
According to the Daily Mail, Ivanova has spent around $20,000 on her lips. She looks like she has a life raft glued to the front of her face. Despite the fact that she is clearly suffering from a mental illness, doctors continue to let her fill her face with filth.
“My doctor was afraid to inject more hyaluronic acid into my lips, but I was adamant that I wanted more, and I will not stop,” she told the outlet. “I wanted to do six procedures at once. Until now, I always did these on different areas of the face on different days.”
Images have been released of what Ivanova looked like before her spiral into obsession. Before she strove for the largest lips in the world, she was a young, attractive woman with a beautiful face. She’s been left with something that wouldn’t be out of place in a house of horror.
