Phobias, for those who don’t have them, may seem odd or irrational. I’m sure we’ve all heard of arachnophobia and claustrophobia. The fear of spiders and confined spaces are common and therefore, completely rational. However, there are some phobias that majority of people, and apparently Apple developers, refuse to acknowledge. I say this because the new rear camera design is triggering consumers with Trypophopia, or fear or disgust of closely-packed holes. And FYI, it’s me. I’m “consumers.” Even through I am currently wigging out writing this, I will suffer through. Here’s a look at the design that has everybody freaking out.

Still unsure about all the hype? Here are some of the worst examples the Internet has to offer.
#Trypophobia is an aversion to the sight of irregular patterns or clusters of small holes, or bumps. It is not officially recognized as a mental disorder, but may fall under the broad category of specific phobia if fear is involved and the fear is excessive and distressing. pic.twitter.com/wOvgbyD14Q

If those images made your skin crawl, gave you severe goosebumps, or made you feel nauseous then you, my friend, suffer from Trypophobia. Welcome to the club. Although the actual lenses aren’t as dramatic as these, they’re still pretty sketchy. Check out some of the most priceless reactions from twitter.
