Technology has given us the ability to watch anything we want. Not only can we see things live from our phones, but take screenshots and share them as soon as we want to. The things we have the ability to share are endless, and can range from anything funny and cute, to weird, strange, or disturbing and make us wish we hadn’t seen it – And that’s what happened to one mother who saw something really odd in her son’s crib.
Stay at home mom, Maritza Cibuls, was checking on her son asleep in his crib, and noticed something really strange, dare I say creepy? Using her baby monitor, Cibuls saw a ghost of a baby, or “ghost baby” as she says, next to her sleeping son.
Talk about a paranormal activity nightmare.
So, just as creeped out as were are, Cibuls, took to social media to get help, I mean share. “At first I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me,” she said. And she tried to ignore it. But after feeling around and checking the sheets for drool, she couldn’t shake the confusion and posted in a group for mother’s on Facebook. She asked, “if they saw the baby too or if I [she] was just going crazy.” She wasn’t crazy, because this got people talking.
After attempting to go to sleep, and checking Facebook in the morning, Cibuls realized she and the rest of her group needed to know what was going on. So, she walked in her son’s room and saw this:
Apparently her husband had forgotten to put the mattress cover on underneath the sheets, and ‘ghost’ was simply a tag on her baby’s mattress. So, this just proves that the technology we love, can now sometimes show us things we don’t necessarily need to see. And Cibuls who lost sleep because she was terrified of ‘ghost’ baby, was relieved it just turned out to be a small scare, hilarious nonetheless.
