If you’re one of those people who regularly use Family Guy quotes in place of intelligent conversation, you’re going to love this desperate cash grab from a bar in Boston as they recreate the Clams’ famous booth.

Sometimes, when a company is on its knees, they have to create a gimmick to stay afloat. This can come in the form of attaching a celebrity to a bad batch of liquor, or in the case of this Boston bar, trying to recreate the Family Guy bar.

No doubt, it’s a famous cartoon location. The show started off well with an average of 7 million viewers in the early seasons. However, as the stories have run dry, and the jokes got a little stale, it’s tapered off to around 2 million viewers in recent seasons.

The famed bar booth from Family Guy has been the stage for many of the famed jokes in the series. I am sure fans will be keen to reenact their favorite scenes on the red leather seats. West End Johnnies is looking to facilitate that.

A Family Guy Bar Experience

Anyone looking to relive the Family Guy experience can head to West End Johnnies in Boston from July 18th. The experience will cost $18 a ticket. This includes 90 minutes in an imitation bar booth from Family Guy among several other Family Guy-style decorations. It also includes one cocktail, or a mocktail if you’re planning to sit through the ordeal sober.

The bar will host a Family Guy-themed pub quiz and karaoke. There is also a special menu with Family Guy adjacent food and cocktails. For an extra couple of dollars are drinks with incredible names such as “Shut Up Meg.” The food menu will feature Family Guy-level word puns like “Not Joe Nachos.”

For the Family Guy super fans, I am sure this half-baked attempt at capitalising on the cartoon will be a joy. Incessant cartoon quoters love a chance to show off their intricate knowledge of their chosen show, and the trivia night will be perfect for it.

The experience will be available until September 21st. Tickets can be booked through The Bucket List.
