Footage from the Menlo Park Mall in Edison New Jersey, shows around 300 kids coming together, sparking a huge brawl, resulting in multiple arrests.
The cause of the massive fight in the New Jersey mall is still unclear, but it appeared to be during an organized event. The Mayor of Edison made a statement after the fact. He noted that police “was notified that over 300 youth were gathered at Menlo Park Mall and a brawl ensued.”
Police quickly responded to the situation and began rounding up the mayhem. It was also noted that, although several kids were arrested, no weapons were found. “No weapons were confirmed at the incident, and no injuries to juveniles at this time,” the mayor confirmed. “Neighboring municipalities were notified and provided immediate mutual aid to the Edison Police Department to disperse the crowd.”
One of the kids was arrested for Aggravated Assault. Another six were arrested for failure to disperse and Disorderly Persons Conduct, according to Chief Bryan.
Brawl Breaks Out In Mall Due To TikTok Influencer
The 300 kids in the New Jersey Mall were all there at the request of a TikTok influencer. They had put the call out for the kids to arrive there for reasons only known to Gen Alpha. The initial purpose wasn’t to start a 300 kid brawl in the mall, I’m sure, but there was obviously some beef in the crowd.
People are very scared of large groups of kids. Old people don’t understand their language, and they dress weirdly. Big crowds of young people put old people on edge. I am sure that all 300 of the kids in the mall were just there to see the TikTok star rather than fight. But, in typical American fashion, hysteria won the day.
Police had to call in mutual aid to round up the unruly children. Forces from Woodbridge, South Plainfield, and Piscataway were all recruited to help. It took police a total of 30 minutes to calm the brawl, and shepherd the kids out of the mall.
According to reports, terrified adults had barricaded themselves into shops to stay safe from the swarm of kids involved in the New Jersey Mall Brawl. I am sure it’ll go down in local kid history.
