Gender reveals are bizarre ways of celebrating the upcoming birth of a child. Why the gender of a child is being so highly celebrated is anyone’s guess. One couple unintentionally made the perfect gender reveal metaphor by using a septic truck.
Simply sitting in the clinic and finding out the gender of your child alone seems a lot more pure than making some weird song and dance out of it. We’ve seen everything from forest fires to gunfire in the past. But this family has taken the tradition in a bizarre direction and used a septic truck for their baby’s gender reveal.
The typical function of the truck is to suck human waste out of wherever it happens to be. The container on the back is then transported somewhere else to be pumped out and processed. The whole thing is a rather disgusting process, and not one I would want to be waving around in public.
Repurposed S**t Sprayer
The family doing the gender reveal had, thankfully, emptied the tank of the septic truck before spraying it everywhere. The tank at the back, which would usually be full of human waste, had instead been filled with gender colored glitter.
Using the blow function, they blast ‘blue for a boy’ glitter everywhere. The cloud of blue dust catches the wind and blows all over the family, covering them in sh*t smelling gendered color. They were all screaming with excitement, too, so I have no doubt a lot of it went in their mouths.

Of course, the TikTok shared of the septic truck gender reveal had a country music backing track. Who else would decide to use a vehicle designed to move human feces to reveal the gender of a baby? In fact, who would use it for anything other than the one thing it should be used for?
People’s obsession with gender reveals is beyond me. If people need to find out before the child is born, why not just do it quietly? I can guarantee that nobody but the parents, and maybe some close relatives, cares even the slightest amount. They serve no function other than to tickle some self-important, narcissistic itch.
