Singer and actor Suki Waterhouse has revealed that she caused herself quite a nasty injury from wearing too tight jeans. It really does hurt to be beautiful.
Posting to her X account, singer Waterhouse explained her long absence from the platform. “suki you never tweet anymore have you ever considered I wore pants so tight 6 months ago it caused a hernia & I’ve been too scared to tell you,” she posted.
Along with her rather funny explanation, she shared a picture of herself in a hospital bed, in a gown, and still using her vape. The picture shared alongside it was the tight jeans responsible for her injury. And, yes, they are incredibly tight.
A hernia is a horrible situation in which one of the organs pushes its way through the muscle wall of the body. It bulges out and becomes incredibly dangerous due to the exposure. It is often caused by a tearing of a muscle or protective tissue.
Sometimes a hernia can solve itself with rest. But in more serious situations, surgery is needed. By the looks of it, Suki Waterhouse was in need after her tight jeans injury.

Suki may have looked great in her tight sparkly jeans, but it came at the expense of a hospital visit. The waistband of the jeans, along with the compression around her groin, must have put too much pressure on her internal organs. As a result, she gave herself a hernia.

Most of the comments on her post are in the same blasé and funny nature she posted the original story. What really caught people’s attention was the fact that she still had her vape while she was waiting for her surgery.
“Vape in the hospital is diabolical,” one user commented, with singer Suki Waterhouse replying, “So true.” Absolutely no shame. You can’t keep a vape girly from her nicotine mist. It’s good that she’s keeping her head up before she gets the injury rectified.
Suki is still on her current tour, with numerous dates lined up. Hopefully, the tight jeans-wearing vape-sucking singer will be back in full health. I feel like she should give herself a break, though. Some loose-fitting clothing might be safer.
