A man wearing a bikini strolled in off the beach, pulled a gun, and attempted, unsuccessfully, to rob a donut store.
The story raises so many questions. The first, is why he was wearing a bikini to rob a donut shop. I don’t think the fact he was wearing a bikini is an issue. he can wear what he likes. But, as a choice of clothing while trying to be a thief, there are better options.
Footage from the scene shows the man in a straw hat, pink bikini bottoms, and a crop top. The lower half of the swimwear is trying its best, but honestly, failing to save his dignity. The donut shop robber was also carring a small side bag in which he kept his gun.
The problem with the whole outfit was how unthreatening it was, which became a problem later.
Donut Store Employees Throw Down With Bikini Felon
The CCTV from the donut shop in the Harvard Heights area of Los Angeles shows how badly the bikini man did at his robbery. Despite pulling out a gun, the employees decided they would fight him anyway. Footage shows them throwing money at him in the back room, before ramming him with a trolley.
The scantily clad theif is repeatedly knocked to the ground before escpaing. He is then chased by another donut store employee and a chair is launched in his direction. However, he’s made his escape, although where he’s keeping the stolen money is hardly worth thinking about.
Why he chose a donut shop of all places is beyond me. They’re not the most lucrative of places. But, you can hardly expect a genius move from someone who decides a bikini is the right robbery attire.
Police quickly found the man, still wearing his beach clothes. He was approached in a narrow alley. The police, believing him to be armed, did what all US police did, and shot at him. Thankfully they missed.
So, instead they tazed him, and brought him to the ground. Here, he was detained and it was found that he had robbed the donut store with only a replica bb gun.
