When we use the phrase ‘More money than God,’ it’s Mr. Beast we’re talking about.
People just love to watch the YouTube sensation spend his cash. For some reason, it gives us a strange satisfaction to watch the man burn outrageous amounts of money doing wild things. With an estimated net worth of $500 million, he has plenty to spare.
In a recent lavish stunt, Mr. Beast rented out the entirety of Disneyland for a date night, and he paid a fortune. It isn’t just anyone who can hire the whole theme park. The company slapped a huge price tag on the experience.
Of course, Mr. Beast and Co. didn’t get it to themselves in the middle of a busy Saturday. It was rented at night, after hours. Still, though, the rides were running, there were entertainers, and all the lights were on. He got the full experience.
And, the cost to rent Disneyland came to a staggering $500,000 for Mr. Beast. Which, to be fair, isn’t as much as I expected. It’s not far off what it costs a family of four to spend the day there anyway.
Back Scratching
The trip to Disneyland for a night may have cost Mr. Beast a lot, but he also paid with publicity. Disneyland isn’t exactly suffering for guests, but you can’t put a price on Mr. Beast’s audience. At the time of writing, his video has been viewed 61 million times.
His Disneyland trip works as an advertisement for all the new rides he showcased. The dead eyes and glued-on smile of Mr. Beast are sure to entice Disneyland fans back. As he makes his way around the park, he highlights new attractions and repeatedly uses the ‘once in a lifetime’ slogan.
Come on, Mr. Beast, I hardly feel that Disneyland is a once-in-a-lifetime event for you.
Personally, I find Mr. Beast’s face incredibly unnerving, and struggle to watch his videos without getting nightmares. There is something so vacant behind those eyes and shiny smile. But I can appreciate his lavish spending on obscene things. I much prefer to see him burn millions taking his friends out on wild dates than billionaires spend their money on vanity space trips.
