There is something so hilarious about watching adults fight in Disneyland. The contrast of the violence against a backdrop of cartoon childish folly makes for a Shakespearean brawl.
Footage from about six different angles has emerged of a pair of men duking it out over a position in the photo cue. As they bounce off the illustrated walls, a smaller woman in a bunny hat tries to get between them. She becomes sucked into the action and is soon seen throwing hands with the best of them.
Another woman, presumably related to one of the Disneyland fighters, approaches to attempt to break up the brawl, according to the New York Post. However, she’s got a baby on her hip and wades in anyway. Throwing a few ineffectual hands into the mix, she attracts the attention of the bunny-eared woman.
The result is that the woman holding a baby gets a good punch during the Disneyland duel. She drops to the ground, wailing. Bystanders finally decide that it’s gone too far, and some other women rush forward to help the woman to her feet.
Disneyland Brawl Over A Photo OP
According to bystanders, the brawl began in Crazy Animal City at Disneyland Park in Shanghai, China, over a line-cutting situation. There was also a problem where one person got in the way during a photo session. Tensions rose, and then the only thing left to do was push each other.
It was concerning that the only child in the picture was the baby on the woman’s hip. It implies that at least one of the adult couples had come to Disneyland without any children. Is that allowed?
I guess it’s to be expected from an adult who considers a suitable day out to be a children’s theme park to brawl over a line-cutting situation.
Disney adults are hardly going to be the most emotionally developed out there. I am amazed that half of them are able to dress themselves. A civilised conversation and mature understanding isn’t going to be the most natural thing for people who still think Disney is entertaining.
Now, though, the two couples may face a lifetime Disneyland ban for their brawl. What a shame.
