A horrific murder of a wife and her 2-year-old daughter has only been made worse as it transpires that the deranged killer was using FaceTime to show his nephew the gruesome act.
Police were called to a New York residence in Queens by the nephew of the murderous dad. When police arrived, they found that the man had stabbed his wife 18 times, and his 2-year-old daughter nine times, all while on FaceTime to his nephew.
He then turned the knife on himself, taking the coward’s way out. Rather than face the consequences of his action, he took his own life. He has left behind a grieving and traumatised family. Nobody is more devastated and disturbed than his nephew, forced to watch the murder.
A Surprise To Most, But Not To All
Many of the residents around the murdered mom and daughter were shocked to find out the couple had ever had issues. Locals knew and recognised them from the neighbourhood. According to the New York Post, they were described as an idyllic couple, often seen out with the young child.
But the family knew something wasn’t right with the man leading up to the murder of his wife and young child. According to a neighbor who spoke to one of the family members, he had often been abusive to his wife.
“He told her many times, ‘One day, I’m going to kill you.’ That means he was planning it,” they said. This implies that the murder was inevitable. However, the cause will never be known, as he killed himself.
Only the nephew, witness to the savage murder on FaceTime, could glean any reason. However, there has been no information given by the family.
Another neighbour to the tragedy also spoke to the sons of the murdered woman. They live separately from their mother, but knew something was wrong on the day of her death. “Oh, my God! You don’t want me to describe how they reacted. You’re calling your mom all day. You come here and hear someone killed her. … It was like a shock and panic attack,” the neighbor said of the son’s.
