It isn’t just US airplanes that are struggling to keep it up. Elon Musk also seems to be having a bit of a problem.
A third SpaceX rocket in a row has come crashing down in disaster, spinning out of control. After two catastrophic failures, which had the $10,000,000 rockets plunge into the Indian Ocean, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk really needed a win. However, yet another failed launch has spelled a losing streak for the millionaire megolomaniac.
January marked the first of SpaceX’s hat-trick of rocket failures. The rocket exploded just eight minutes after takeoff, raining down over the Bahamas. “oxygen/fuel leak in the cavity above the ship engine firewall that was large enough to build pressure in excess of the vent capacity,” Musk reported.
Typically unaware of the wasteful nature of his projects or the diverted planes. Musk posted, “Success is uncertain, but entertainment is guaranteed!” to his personal soapbox.
The second SpaceX failure came in March when the rocket went into an out-of-control spin. Most of it broke up over the Indian Ocean. This, again, delayed many flights due to debris.
Third Rocket Failure Doesn’t Bode Well For SpaceX
The failures of the latest SpaceX rocket this time around were threefold. Initially, the rocket was intended to release mock satellites once it reached orbit. Despite reaching the desired distance from Earth, the door failed to open.
Thirty minutes after the launch, as the SpaceX rocket made re-entry, it spun out of control and exploded. The Super Heavy booster that was being reused was also supposed to come back down in a controlled manner. However, this also crashed down into the Gulf of Mexico.
Debris and bits of used-up rocket have been peppering the landscape of the Earth due to Elon Musk’s drive to win a capitalist space race. How is it that I can be fined for not recycling my waste, and yet this billionaire can rain fuel, debris, and rocket parts across the globe and face no consequences?
Besides the damage to the planet and environment from Elon Musk’s SpaceX rockets and failures, the satellites he’s sending to space also cause more issues. Did you know, the average lifespan of a Starlink satellite is only five years?
How does he expect us to get to Mars when our Earth will soon be surrounded by so much space junk we can’t leave?
