Twitter user Walter Thunderfläsk started a fascinating thread by posing a simple call for stories: “Tell me something that sounds like a lie, but is actually genuinely true.”
Thunderfläsk kicked the thread off with his own story, “An ungrateful deer once spat in my mouth.” From there, the thread took on a character of its own, with participants taking the prompt and running with it, sharing all kinds of stories, from the terrifying to the hilarious.
