It’s 2017 people. Gender-specific activities shouldn’t even be a thing. Just check these awesome guys who are proving to “dudes” everywhere that embracing your feminine side isn’t such a bad idea.

On Sunday morning, I met some guy friends for breakfast. We talked about all the stuff that we did the night before. It was a pretty crude conversation for the most part. At the end of the meal, I said how I wanted to get a pumpkin spice latte. As we stood up, we noticed some girl at the end of our table. She had this totally confused look on her face. Apparently, she had been listening to our whole time and couldn’t process the contrast from our stereotypical weekend morning “Bro Conversation” to “Yeah, I could really go for a pumpkin spice latte right now.”

I love going to Lush and looking at all the colors and smelling all the smells. If I’m feeling really adventurous, I’ll even buy one that’s slightly sparkly and hope that no one will see the sparkles on me.

I exclusively play as female characters in video games. I like being a strong female character. I’m not pretending to be a woman. I just like watching a boss lady do boss things.
I’ve also been put down for making sympathetic noises about the challenges faced by women and minorities. Apparently, having human empathy is unmasculine.

I’m old enough now where I no longer keep things a secret for fear of seeming less tough. However, in my late teens/early twenties, I got into ballet and started taking adult beginner classes and managed to keep it secret from my tough guy hooligan friends for 6 months before they found out and ridiculed me until I got embarrassed and quit. One of the biggest regrets of my life is not sticking with it. If I had I would’ve been involved for 10+ years, and a reasonable dancer by now.

I love the song “I am beautiful” by Christina Aguilera, and I sing it like a school girl every single time I hear it.

It started out as a way for me to delay my arthritis for as long as possible, but it just became so damn relaxing. The patterns are puzzles that I have to figure out, and I’ve always enjoyed making things. Living in New England, I could always use more scarves (especially since my wife steals them).

Obviously, with no nail polish. My hands and feet are usually a horrendous pile of dead skin and callouses from working out and going to work. It makes me feel a little better about people seeing them. They don’t always get all of them (the callouses and dead skin), but it definitely makes them look a little bit closer to normal.

The greatest feeling EVER is running your hands over smooth legs. If those legs happens to be your own, well then I guess you got to do what you got to do! It may take a long time, but it is so worth it.

Girly fruity cocktails. Sorry, but beer is bitter and gross.
